Did it take a lot of patience waiting to get this shot.Normaly there are dozens of tourists climbing al over the lions taking snaps !! Nice reflections and nice light.Good shot.

@Anthony: It was fairly simple to take, it was a rainy day not many people and I pp'd the background to make the foreground prominent, glad you like
It does look strangely quite, not a pigeon or tourist in sight. :) This is fabulous composition Peter.

I knew where we were before I got down to your title. Wonderful photo of the statue. I like the composition with his paws right on the bottom of the frame. He does indeed look very powerful! :-)
