Just bought a new Canon EOS 40D with the EFS 17 - 85 lens. Can't wait to put it through its paces
Next few photos: Had a pub discussion with Mike from Staffordshire about the weather and it's effect on our photography. He said why not try some people photography, seems like a good idea so I have. Also discussed local area photography, things we take for granted everyday, so after the people photos I will be posting local area photos, they will all be up to date, I throw you a challenge Mike, get that camera out and working.
Cool Photoblogs

That's a fantastic view Peter, I love the way you've included the structure of the Eye in this shot. I'm not one for heights, so it's doubtful that I'll ever go up there :) I did look out for you yesterday on the Chase but it was wall to wall photographers, you couldn't move sometimes without bumping into one lol.

Magnificent shot, the dimensions of the wheel become apparent in the image. I've been around twice, very smooth :)

I moved from England 11 years ago, before it was built. I had no idea it was so high! great shot, I really like how you can see the 'track'......Damn that is high.

Splendid view of the Thames, Westminster Bridge and the Houses of Parliament. I like the inclusion of some of the Eye - it gives great perspective. Don't these shots make you wish it was on a clearer day without the rain/fog/smog. Reminds me of the day I went up Cypress Mountain here to take a view of the whole of Vancouver and English Bay - everything was covered in sea haze from above! Ah! always another time I suppose! :-)
